Golden Ribbons on a sea of blue

Description: I used many shades of blue and green in creating this work. Next I added gold and silver leaf, rubbing them onto the wet paint to meld the colors and texture together. This painting will be shipped unframed, wired for hanging. The painting is on stretched canvas (2 ½ inch thick stretcher bars). The work was inspired by the sun on the water, during a rare sunny day on San Francisco Bay.
