Description: This work is composed of encaustic, oil paint and collage. It has wonderful texture and depth. The painting is on stretched canvas (2 ½ inch thick stretcher bars) and will be wired for hanging. “Alsterwasser”, literally translated means : Alster water – the Alster is huge lake in the center of Hamburg, Germany – where I was born, spent many fond years and to which I always have strong ties. For those who know Hamburg, they will also recognize “Alsterwasser” as a popular beer/soda beverage!
